Following in the footsteps of the Sony Ericsson W8 , the company has just unveiled a new budget Android based Walkman handset. The phone is powered by a 1Ghz processor with a 320MB of RAM. The screen is 3.2" with the same disappointing HVGA resolution as the W8. The OS running the show here is Gingerbread along with the custom SE UI layer on top. A 5MP camera unit should provide decent images coupled with 720p video recording. Tri-band 3G support (HSPA+) at 850, 1900 and 2100MHZ, or dual-band 3G at 900 and 2100MHz depending on the model should help you get high speed connectivity on your phone.
